What are some good book having to do with life lessons/wisdom, etc?

My mom loves those kind of book and i want to get her one for her birthdday. It can be a book of little fables with morals in them, or it can be a book with inspirational quotes, or just a book of wisdom and life lessons. She likes stuff like the Tao Te Ching written by Lao Tzu, or the parables by Chuang Tzu (both ancient chinese philosophers)…any suggestions?
